This painted pine armoire still maintains the quality and details of the original hand-painted finish in an earth tone pallet.
The four floral panels framed in blue against the faux wood painted background were a traditional folk art style of the era, now showing the gently distress of generations of use.
The interior is divided with shelves on the right and vertical storage on the left. The upper right side has two drawers hidden behind the crown.
The left door is held in place with an interior latch; the right door secures by a small metal latch at the exterior top of the door in addition to the functioning lock (1 key included).
This painted two-door armoire has been restored and waxed so it is strong, stable and ready to use.
Age related wear include dings, cracks, scratches, age related separations to wood, distress etc. which do not detract from the beauty nor function of this wonderful folk-art find. See cracks/separation of back panels. Distress/wear to painted finish typical of age, etc.
