Highly carved oak high back bench. Three panels along the back portray pub scenes, while lions, heads, and carved flourishes are seen throughout the rest.
Notice the seat is hinged, creating great storage space for items that need to be discretely tucked away. 
Restored, strong and stable. The wax finish brings out the dark patina of the aged oak wood. Old cracks (such as between middle and right panel) and separations are seen throughout, but do not impact the integrity of the bench.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this impressive carved bench.
