Restored and ready for use, drawers function and open with two brass pulls each.
Any nicks, scratches, cracks, distress etc. are reflective of age and use and do not detract from the function nor elegant appeal of this lovely pair of chests which may also serve as nightstands. Numbers are seen on inner side panel of drawers (someone in time did this so drawers would hang in proper section).
