This baby cradle was handcrafted in the mid 1800's. The original blue painted finish with white flowers has been worn away from years of use; especially areas where it was touched, even the tips of the base where a foot was placed to rock it.
Stately Gustavian chest of four drawers with dentil molding carved along top and gentle fluted carving central to each drawer. Restored, newer, professionally applied light gray painted layered finish with teal undertones.

This festive hanging rack is a wonderful example of the folk art found in Eastern Europe during the 1800's. The original blue painted background has traditional contrasting red trim.
