This wedding cabinet still maintains the original hand-painted blue finish with floral bouquet in the upper doors and stylized faux marble motif decorating the bonnet which was the folk art style of the era. Original locks & keys (2 included) still function.

Exceptional original painted sideboard. The double monogram & date of 1843 indicate it was likely a special wedding present. It never had pulls and the old lock was removed years ago, so presently you open the door simply at the edge.
