This festive hanging rack is a wonderful example of the folk art found in Eastern Europe during the 1800's. The original blue painted background has traditional contrasting red trim.

Beautifully crafted Swedish pine cabinet with unique upper enclosed section holding 18 drawers and 1 small interior cabinet. The newer professionally applied blue painted finish has been gently distressed revealing the natural wood below.
Two pine apothecary counters with 15 drawers each; both are painted gray with a contrasting black top & base. Placed back to back, the depth is 48" making them ideal to serve as a free-standing kitchen island (current back unfinished).
Original painted floral panels embellish this lovely armoire, which was built in the traditional manner to "break down" into 2 sections, making it easier to transport and install, with one lower drawer all resting on large bun feet.

The deep patina of the warm pine is a reflection of generations of use, and is crowned by a lovely "bonnet" which was a traditional Swedish style element of the era. Two long paneled doors open to reveal two standard shelves & an upper decorative shelf.
It is the years of constant use revealed in every deep gouge, ding, and scratch that enrich the character of this carpenters' workbench. Unique to this worktable is the lower shelf, two drawers and enclosed storage area.
The weathered patina of the bleached oak wood draws one to this long refectory or library table with two functioning drawers from France. The attractive turned legs of the trestle base add to the visual appeal.

This delightful pine side table still maintains the original brick red painted finish to the base. Fluted details combined with additional carved accents such as a carved flower that becomes the drawer pull make this table a special find.
Original green painted dome top pine trunk from Sweden with wrought iron straps and side handles. Monogram EFD and date "1840" indicate this trunk was likely a dowry or wedding present. Restored and waxed.
The painted finish is all original on this beautiful flat top trunk. The background color is a dark blue with red and white accents.
