This festive hanging rack is a wonderful example of the folk art found in Eastern Europe during the 1800's. The original blue painted background has traditional contrasting red trim.

Beautifully crafted Swedish pine cabinet with unique upper enclosed section holding 18 drawers and 1 small interior cabinet. The newer professionally applied blue painted finish has been gently distressed revealing the natural wood below.

Two pine apothecary counters with 15 drawers each; both are painted gray with a contrasting black top & base. Placed back to back, the depth is 48" making them ideal to serve as a free-standing kitchen island (current back unfinished).

Original painted floral panels embellish this lovely armoire, which was built in the traditional manner to "break down" into 2 sections, making it easier to transport and install, with one lower drawer all resting on large bun feet.

Black painted pine sideboard or server cabinet with fluted side half columns, upper trim with small corner finials.  A simple functioning latch holds the doors in place. Interior shelf and curved upper half shelf.

Large pine chest of drawers flanked with turned columns & decorative carving along top and skirt. The newer, professionally applied blue layered painted finish & contrasting top adds a touch of grace that fits the age of this large chest.

The deep patina of the warm pine is a reflection of generations of use, and is crowned by a lovely "bonnet" which was a traditional Swedish style element of the era. Two long paneled doors open to reveal two standard shelves & an upper decorative shelf.

It is the years of constant use revealed in every deep gouge, ding, and scratch that enrich the character of this carpenters' workbench. Unique to this worktable is the lower shelf, two drawers and enclosed storage area.

The weathered patina of the bleached oak wood draws one to this long refectory or library table with two functioning drawers from France. The attractive turned legs of the trestle base add to the visual appeal.

The painted birds first captures one's attention in this beautiful armoire. This original painted "German Shrunk" was built in the traditional manner to "break down" into 2 sections, making it easier to transport and install.

This romantic pair of Empire style painted wooden Curule stools are from Sweden, late 19th century. Noted style elements include out-scrolling and decorative  base.

Original hand-painted pine armoire from the Swedish countryside. Fluted panel doors, raised decorative feet, and finial in center of crown add to its appeal. Lock still functions with key (1 included) and small interior wood latch holds left door closed.

Danish rococo period Bombay commode with detailed mahogany and walnut marquetry throughout.  Bombay curves and saber feet turning gently outwards that draws one to this elegant chest of three drawers.

There is aged charisma to this drop leaf gate leg table with stretcher base. It can serve as a side table, work table or be raised to create a unique kitchen island. When closed, it is 56.25” wide yet it expands to 84.5" wide when single leaf is fully opened.

This large bleached oak bookcase is statuesque in size and is impressive with carved panels, drawers, crown, turned columns and more. At just over 8' tall, the 3 glass door panes add to its visual impact displaying any collection held within.

This handsome baroque style oak library table with one drawer has heavily turned legs and is over 7' long. This table is restored, so it is strong and stable regardless of over 200 years of use.

This delightful pine side table still maintains the original brick red painted finish to the base. Fluted details combined with additional carved accents such as a carved flower that becomes the drawer pull make this table a special find.

Original green painted dome top pine trunk from Sweden with wrought iron straps and side handles. Monogram EFD and date "1840" indicate this trunk was likely a dowry or wedding present. Restored and waxed.

The painted finish is all original on this beautiful flat top trunk. The background color is a dark blue with red and white accents.

Single door pine 6' tall armoire; monogram of MPD and date of 1753 indicate this may have been a wedding or dowry present. Restored, stable and ready for use. The warm patina of the aged pine is a reflection of years of use.
